We started as two selfless people ready to use our shared vision of love to find a way to truly impact the world with the platforms we’ve been given. We decided to start an an anti-bullying/anti-retaliation movement in August 2019. We are a support platform for those who have been bullied. We lift them up and remind them how amazing they are. We are educating people on these aggressors and helping them understand the mindset behind a bully. We teach people that 95% of the time these people have been victims of abuse or bullying in their life and it’s their way of lashing out. We need to understand that these are damaged people that need love as well. By understanding them better, we want to teach people a different way to react to people that lash out towards random strangers as they do. Knowing who these people are will hopefully make their hate-filled remarks less damaging as we understand them better and realize the hate has no meaning and no substance behind it. We want to address the poison that’s plaguing social media and the world as well which is retaliation. People who aggressively use their voice to rally people to a cause of anger and hate towards ANYONE they do not know and issues that do not pertain to them is also a form of bullying. We need to teach people to reach out to victims and stop giving these aggressors the attention they want. If it’s that bad of a situation, like we have seen lately, and someone needs serious help that you know it is your job to take steps further to contact authorities or to get them help. Not to go on social media and aggravate a situation further. It’s time for the world to stop focusing on the hate and focus on standing up for and loving our fellow man and woman. It’s time to #ERASEtheH8!

Erasetheh8 is so much more than a movement for me. Yes it is incredible that we are an anti bullying, anti retaliation movement that spreads love, positivity, kindness and support all over social media. However to me, it is so much more than that. To me erasetheh8 is all about the people. People that were strangers, then followers, then internet friends and now real friends. Friends I talk to every day, friends who have my back no matter what, these friends I talk to more then some people in my real life. 2020 has been really hard on pretty much everyone, erasetheh8 saved my mental health. As someone who struggles with anxiety, being stuck at home and dealing with a global pandemic, it’s really easy to fall down a dark hole in terms of mental health. Erasetheh8 family has saved me, they brighten my mood every day, I look forward to jumping into peoples lives, forgetting about the real world for a couple of hours. Erasetheh8 is so much more than a movement, it really is a family. A family that saved my life 💞.

The #ERASEtheH8 movement is so much more than just an anti-bullying/anti-retaliation movement to me. When I first joined I was ready to help our founders stand up against bullies and spread love and positivity to those who need it most (the bullied AND the bullies). Then I slowly got to know the others who have been with us along the way. This movement is my second family. I know, no matter what, if I need someone there will always be someone there for me. From the bottom of my heart, I just have to say THANK YOU and I LOVE YOU to every single one of you 💞 Jason and Justin, you both mean the world to me and I appreciate you allowing me to do what I do for the movement.

#ERASEtheH8 is a family that I can actually count on when I need some1 to talk to. They are always showing love to those in need. The co-founders are two amazing guys that put this family together and without them this family wouldn't have come so far that our kids are learning about the movement as well. I just wanna say thank you to the co- founders for making this movement. I can't express how appreciate them and everyone in the group.

ERASEtheH8 has been a bright light in a crazy pandemic. It is so awesome to show love and encouragement to others and at the same time get a feeling of joy at how it makes someone’s day or pulls them out of the darkness. It is a blessing to me to have found and be a part of this wonderful movement. It has helped me through some tough and dark times myself.

What does ERASEtheH8 mean to me?
At the age of 14 I walked in on my best friend attempting to take her own life. I had no idea that she was being bullied and I was hurt that she kept this from me. At that time I retaliated and ended up in a whole world of trouble, didn’t matter to me much then because my friend was alive and she knew she didn’t have to hide her situation anymore.
Since having my own kids I’ve had experiences with them being bullied but the difference in the situation is I’m an adult and they are kids so I can’t retaliate. I actually started an anti bullying program in my daughters old school in England and it worked but the school claimed they couldn’t fit it into their budget....it wasn’t really expensive it was a few print outs and a talk from local police now and then. Anyway it got cancelled.
2009 we moved to FL and again there were experiences with bullies so I’ve kind of accepted that there will always be someone out there with something horrible or negative to say to or about others and have been on a constant quest to find the best way to deal with them. Past experience taught me retaliation with violence doesn’t solve anything. I’m learning that most bullies are themselves victims of something that builds anger inside themselves that they project onto others. ERASEthH8 with its anti retaliation is giving me the insight to look deeper into the bully themselves, what are they going through? How can I help them so they feel better in themselves and don’t feel a need to hurt others.
Also, as a survivor of severe domestic violence i have experienced bullying first hand in its most every form, mentally, emotionally and physically. It took me a long time to recover and heal my heart but I was lucky enough to meet someone who showed me what love really is. I now volunteer at a local women’s support group (online now due to covid) and am hoping that I can incorporate ERASEtheH8 values there somehow.
When I found ERASEtheH8 I was in a dark place. All my family is thousands of miles away and there are things going on at home that I could help with but I can’t get there. Tiktok was merely a distraction. This amazing group’s positivity has been a real light in my dark hour and I’ve been able to use the positivity to tackle issues at home via facetime and other media platforms. I’m a very layered person so opening up about things like this hasn’t been easy but I’m hoping that with time I can change that too.

I joined this group once I seen how much love and positivity they were spreading. How they made each and every person feel welcome.
We as a movement go out each and every day to help others that may need that extra love or need that reminder that they are loved and they matter. For this I am a proud member 💞

ERASEtheH8 has changed my life completely! Since the first day, I join this amazing movement I felt so welcomed and so loved by all of these amazing human beings that I call family! ErasetheH8 is so much more than a movement to me it's incredible we all are anti-bullying and anti-retaliation, however, ERASEtheH8 to me is about people that were strangers now real friends that I talk to every day then real-life friends. These incredible humans that I met online have helped me throughout my emotional situations due to the pandemic. My mental health and anxiety were extremely bad. 2020 has been a hard year for me because I lost friends and the people I love. That's when ERASEtheH8 came into my life and everything changed my low self-esteem towards people has changed. Also, ERASEtheH8 has helped me build communication more with people in real life and also online friends the shyness that I had is gone it helped me come out of my shell. ERASEtheH8 has saved my life in many ways it pulled me out from the dark place I was in. Now look at me I have grown through TikTok and throughout this movement. The shininess I have inside me making people smile in their bad dark days is important. I was once told I impacted so many people's lives just because I'm carrying a beautiful soul inside me to make someone's day brighter. I'm so happy I found ERASEtheH8 in my life! 💞

When I first began TikTok I was at home alone with a newborn (my granddaughter) 1700 miles away from my new husband and was pretty lonely and looking for something or someone to connect with. I have this incessant need to help people and make the world a brighter place. In the first few months I met many amazing people but on night I came across @neonelove and he was talking about ERASEtheH8 and I knew I had to become a part of this. As a child I was bullied, and I never quite fit in anywhere. I have always been the one that people reached out to for advice or to just talk. I heard a lot of stories and felt a lot of heartbreak. Even now, strangers will talk to me for hours as if we have been friends from childhood.
I knew I had a gift and I wanted to help the world with it. I studied hard a got my associate in psychology to better understand human nature. With this I decided that I could help the movement and asked to join. There are so many opportunities to reach out and change the world one life at a time. I feel this is what this movement is about and we continue to do this everyday. This is not a short term idea for me, I live this movement. My life has changed quite drastically since joining over a year ago and I can’t wait to see where we go from here!

Oh dear ERASEtheH8, where to start. First off let me say that I have never had such an amazing and positive experience on any social media platform until now.
Growing up I was a leader of an anti-bullying group, where we had the opportunity to work directly with our local school board and visit schools and hold an assembly to increase the awareness of bullying. We felt as though everyone hearing this positive message from someone their own age – their own peers -- really helped the message stick. This experience forever changed my thinking on how we can make a difference – one person at a time.
I joined TikTok originally just to pass the time watching videos during this pandemic lockdown. I never thought I would be posting a video of myself online… but, here we are!
When I stumbled upon the live of one of the ERASEtheH8 hosts, I had no idea what it was all about. From that first live experience, I went onto the next host in the lineup which just so happened to be one of the amazing co-founders of this movement. Right after that, I just KNEW I wanted to be a part of this. My heart felt so much joy to see people spreading a positive message and hyping one another up.
After becoming a host myself and holding lives on behalf of ERASEtheH8 my drive to continue to be an advocate for anti-bullying was even higher. Social media platforms make it so easy to bully nowadays. So to have the opportunity to use a platform and be a part of a movement that strives to increase awareness through spreading love and positivity is so incredible.
Since becoming a part of this amazing movement I have met so many incredible people that I now call my true friends, my second family! Never did I think I would be so close with people who live so far away! I am truly grateful for you all.
